COURSE DETAILS:

Learn about infant/toddler development including primitive reflexes and nervous system responses. Overview of potential impactful events in utero, birth and early years. 

Group process to explore and understand our own arrival time and birth and birthing experiences.  It is especially important  to know and resolve our own triggers and blind spots as practitioners in working with infants and parents. Infant do not have a differentiated sense of self and are part of the mother’s energetic field up to 18 months so it is vital to navigate touch and energy in a way that supports healthy attachment of the whole family system.

Develop skills in holding a therapeutic container for infants/toddlers and their caregivers while offering manual therapy

Enhance greater ease in developmental movement through engagement and play! 

Observe videos and live sessions with babies and their families with group discussion and review. 

Hone your subtle listening and tracking skills in cranial sacral/ fascial/visceral systems with specific emphasis on techniques for babies. Practice will be with other participants including role play exercises. 

There are 2 in person modules. Each one will be based on different stages of development. 

2 follow up zoom calls to review case studies and guest speakers.
